Meet Dr. Mark Baker

Dr. F. Mark Baker, Chiropractor and Orthospinology Specialist

Dr. F. Mark Baker has been providing chiropractic care in Blairsville, Georgia since 1997. Before relocating to the North Georgia mountains, he practiced for seven years in Smyrna. A native of South Carolina, Dr. Baker has called Georgia home since 1985 and is proud to serve the Blairsville community.

He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University in 1990, following a successful 20-year career in radiology after graduating with a degree in Radiologic Science in 1975. Inspired by his own positive experience with Orthospinology, Dr. Baker chose to dedicate his career to chiropractic care. In addition to his clinical practice, he taught advanced Orthospinology for ten years, sharing his knowledge and expertise with other practitioners. Today, patients travel from all over the Southeast seeking Dr. Baker’s knowledge and expertise. 

Dr. Baker and his wife, Lynn, have raised their two sons, Cole and Bret, in Blairsville. Both are graduates of Union County High School. Bret Graduated from Kennesaw State University with a major in Mass Media/Professional Writing and currently works as Visual Director for a successful marketing agency. Cole graduated from University of Georgia with a BS in Biology and from Mercer University School of Medicine with a Medical Degree. He now practices Emergency Medicine as a Captain in the United States Air Force.

The Baker family is grateful to be part of such a welcoming community, and Dr. Baker takes pride in offering precise, compassionate care to patients from Blairsville and across the Southeast.
